The poppiness of this tune may be linked to the fact it was produced by ‘Swedish Pop Powerhouse’ Ishi but the euphoric production soon becomes nauseating. After the huge year he’s had Tinie Tempah deserves to ride the wave of popular music but let’s hope he doesn’t forget why people liked him in the first place. Are you listening Dizzee?

Tinie Tempah Written In The Stars
After the breakout success of his previous hit singles ‘Pass Out’ and ‘Frisky’ Tinie Tempah re-uses the same template for his latest single ‘Written In The Stars’. Apart from the dreadful vocal from Eric Turner which turns the song into an MOR pop nightmare, the delivery and backing track sounds almost identical to his last two top ten hits. This will still be a big hit but it lacks the urgency and originality of ‘Pass Out’ in which Tempah’s unique delivery struck a chord with music fans of all ages.
