Dr Dre's latest release isn't his long-gestating album, but a line of cognac. His new line of cognac will be called Aftermath and will be available in the coming months. This is after the release of his Beats By Dre headphones
and a limited edition HP computer. But no new album.
His third studio album Detox has been in the pipes since 2004. Dre said it would come out in 2005. Snoop said it would come out 2008. Mid last year he dropped some beats from the album in a Dr Pepper commercial.
But we're still waiting.
Dre has been busy in the meantime, producing the vast majority of Eminem's Relapse album.
He also recently announced an album of instrumentals is in the works, called The Planets, with each song named after a planet in our solar system.
Detox awaits.
