R&B singer Chris Brown got some good praises from a judge overseeing his probation after being convicted of hitting
ex-girlfriend Rihanna, urging him to continue doing well at his community service requirement.
No issues was raise from Brown’s progress in the brief hearing with superior court Judge Patricia Schnegg.
"You're doing very well on probation," Schnegg told Brown. "You're doing a great job."
Judge Schnegg said Brown, who didn’t speak during the hearing, had vigorously worked to satisfy his six-month community labor sentence, but she did not say how many hours he had completed.
According to the Associated Press, Schnegg also noted she had read positive reports from a domestic violence counseling program attended by Brown.
Brown, 21, was sentenced last year to five years probation and six months of community labor for assaulting Rihanna in February 2009 after a pre-Grammy Awards party.
As of late, Brown has been working diligently to repair his boy next door image.
