Kampuni mpya ya simu ya Hits Tanzania kuanza Januari 2011.

ExcellentCom trading as Hits Tanzania revealed its brand and logo “Hits” to the public on Monday
 the 23rd August 2010 at the Movenpick Hotel. Hits Tanzania is a telecommunication network operator with a license to offer Voice, SMS and Data Services.
During the unveiling of the brand, the Chairman of Excellentcom Tanzania Ltd, Hons. Abdullah Mwinyi said that “Hits Tanzania operation is now in the final stages to go live and we will roll out a nationwide coverage by early next year.



Speaking to the media, ExcellentCom CEO David Charles said that according to TCRA (Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority) 2010 March report, the cellular market in Tanzania currently has a penetration of over 40%. And according to BMI (British Market Index Q2 report, 2010) the projection is expected to reach over 60% in 2012.



He added that there are a number of network infrastructures in place that encourage synergies and strategic partnership. “Clearly there is never been a better time for Hits Tanzania to rollout its’ network than now,” He said.
The company will embark in signing partnership deals with a number of potential partners that will see them offer their customers and Hits customers with bundling packages comes next year. The campaign will be called “a life time subscription” that will create value to Hits partners and its customers.
