The singer-and-actor ' who is currently dating screen beauty Jessica Biel and has previously romanced Cameron Diaz and Britney Spears -was 'shy and timid' as a child but learnt to be more outgoing as he discovered his passion for music.
He said: ' think of myself as an entertainer, and that's the only thing I've ever been decent at. Other than that, I'm kind of a geek. I was very shy and timid as a kid, and it was only when I discovered the stage in school that a monster came out!
' think my mom was happy that I stopped staring at my sneakers and learned to be more outgoing. There was this need to perform and express myself that had been bottled up.'
Despite his incredible success, Justin admits there have been times he has not been happy with the path his career has taken.
He explained: ''ve had times in my life where I've felt drained and just wanted to stop. But that's the result of being very driven and determined. It took me a little while, but I figured out that you have to make sure you're happy with both your life and the work you're doing.'
