R&B crooner Trey Songz has upstaged his Virginia peer Chris Brown for the number one spot on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. Brown, who held the spot for multiple weeks with single “Deuces,” was knocked down by Trey’s latest offering “Can’t Be Friends,” which is off his fourth studio album ‘Passion, Pleasure & Pain.’
“Can’t Be Friends,” Songz second single, jumped from 2-1, while his lead single "Bottoms Up” featuring Nicki Minaj hangs on at no. 3.
Brown's "Deuces" claimed no.1 back in August (2010) and has remained atop the chart for ten weeks, becoming his first major hit since his 2009 assault.
