T.I. Gives Fans Going Away Message, "No Mercy" Details

Tip thanks his fans and critics on an album he says is, "inspired by my most recent best and worst life experiences." After changing his album title and leaking the cover image mere days before his second year-long prison sentence in as many years, T.I. offered a parting message to fans before heading back to the Arkansas prison he was just released from this past spring.

“The wait is almost over,” T.I wrote to his fans via TrapMuzik.com “My 7th album entitled No Mercy will be out on December 7th. This album represents some of my best work inspired by my most recent best and worst life experiences. They say adversity brings forth inspiration so y’all can imagine how inspired I’ve been during the recording process for this album. I’ve been taking stock of myself and digesting eveyone’s comments and criticisms. Now it’s my turn to express myself and take you into my mind. The real won’t hate and the truth won’t wait! If God is with me who can be against me.”

Prior to T.I.’s incarceration, Just Blaze said Tip was working from a selection of over 70 songs recorded within a few months, some of which likely ended up on “Fuck A Mixtape.” In addition to logging studio time with familiar collaborators such as Just Blaze, Eminem and Kanye West, artists such as Christina Aguilera and T.I.’s Takers co-star Chris Brown [“Get Back Up” ]. No Mercy will be T.I.’s first full-length release since 2008’s Paper Trail, which was his third consecutive number one album; Paper Trail sold 568,000 during its first week of release.
