Ciara hit the stage at Beekman’s Beer Garden at the South Street Seaport in New York City last night for Malibu Rum’s beach-themed Station Invasion Concert Tour. The private show housed white tents, classic summer eats, and an ongoing supply of Malibu—the classic recipe to any summer celebration.
Fashionably but not obnoxiously late, the ATL-bred songstress—decked out in a crispy ivory ensemble with a matching fitted—opened her set with her crowd-energizing single “Get Up.” Working her signature tiny waist, caramel tresses, and lower lip-biting slow grind, CiCi popped, locked, and seduced the crowd with “Goodies,” “Ride,” and a few other classic hits including the Southern swag-drenched “Oh.”
She won over an always-skeptical New York crowd with “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone.” “New York, I never had nobody do me like you,” she said in a wispy tone before closing with “Love Sex Magic” as fans sang along.
